Potty Training - "I FREAKING HATE IT"!

We just started potty training Brigzen yesterday (YIKES), and I'm already thinking that changing a diaper isn't so bad. He has no desire to poop in the potty, and minimal desire to pee. Aaron keeps saying he's done changing diapers cause Brigz is 3 and that is too old to be in diapers, so I took the liberty of inviting him to start the training himself if he thought that were the case! Needless to say Aaron never started the potty training! We are on day 2 still in pull-ups and on Friday he goes to undies (since I'll be off to stay with him when he pees his pants and drops a clod of poop in his underwear.......didn't figure anyone else should have to deal with that)! Anyways, I just wanted to put it in writing that we are potty training and that both Brigzen and his parents are still surviving (STILL is the key word........at any moment it could come to an end for either of us)!!!!

P.S. I'd post of picture of a pull-up or something to go with this topic if I had one, but I don't so no pic! I'll post one of his "accidents" in his undies on Friday though if you're lucky, since I'm sure we'll have plenty of them!!!

Cute Neighbor Christmas Gift Idea!

Our fabulous neighbor gave us this Christmas Gift (says junkfoodstorage.com on it). It's full of candy canes, and has their nutritional value (completely fat free, what a relief) and the date they were canned as well! I thought it was such a cute and creative idea, so I wanted to share it!

Santa April and Santa Taysen!

So me and Taysen did a Santa 5k the day after Thanksgiving. I'd like to say I look fat because of the Santa Suit we (all runners) were required to wear........but I think if I'm being honest it's just because the camera adds 15 lbs - okay fine, it's cause I'm over weight! Anyways, Taysen and I had a blast. He's a great runner, totally keeps up with me, and would leave me in his dust if I'd let him. It was so fun doing that together.........love you Taysen!

Our Ragnar Relay Las Vegas 2010

We survived our Ragnar Relay Las Vegas style this year. Our team took 28th Place out of 408 teams, so we were mighty proud. In this picture we looked better than we smelled! After 30 hours of no sleeping, showering, using port-a-potties, and 200 miles we reaked! It was a blast though, and we plan to do it again next year!

Trick-or-Treat!

The kids had a blast Trick-or-Treating, although "Spiderman" was horrified of anyone who looked even remotely scary (thus the look on his face at he stares at Rykley in his Zombie mask), so we had to cut the night short to spare him an early heart attack!!! Everyone had fun though and got lots of candy!

Go Cougars!

Me and my boys (minus little Brigzen) went to the BYU Game, and they won............this year that's playing out to be a big deal! Either way, win or lose, we still love our Cougars!
